Clubs
We have some great clubs here at Harbor Ridge and YOU are invited to join. All clubs are open to all 6th, 7th, and 8th graders. Our clubs are held on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons from 2:45 until 4:30 pm. We even have a FREE activity bus for you to ride. Please be sure of the location of your bus stop so that the driver can get you home quickly and safely. There are two buses; one that takes students out across the Purdy Spit and another one that is for students on this side of the Spit to ride home.
Drama Club
Advisor: Ms. Byrnes / Room 117 / Tuesdays & Thursdays
Drama Club meets every Tuesday and Thursday. Ms. Byrnes, our amazing drama instructor is the advisor for this club. Our first big production for the year is going to be "Grease." Students will learn basic acting techniques, set production, as well as sound and lighting skills. Drama Club is fun, exciting, and educational.
Homework Club
Advisor: Mrs. Channel and Mrs. Kulp / Library / Tuesdays & Thursdays
Homework Club meets every Tuesday and Thursday in the library. Mrs. Channel and Mrs. Kulp are the awesome advisors for this club. Students are welcome to bring in their homework to complete and both teachers are available to answer questions if students need help with their work.
Art and Photo Club
Ms. Feek / Room 003 / Tuesdays
Ms. Feek is our incredible Art Club advisor. You have the chance to come to Art Club to work on your projects form your art or photo class or you can come in to work on new projects. You do not have to be enrolled in an art class in order to participate in Art Club.
Computer Club
Advisor: Mrs. Tweten / Computer Lab / Tuesdays
The mastermind behind our Multi Media Productions classes is Mrs. Tweten. You are invited to attend the Computer Club to learn more about how the morning announcements are created using computerized animation skills as well as other general computer application skills. Members of Computer Club will also have the opportunity to help publish our fabulous yearbook.
Math Club
