ASB - Associate Student Body

The ASB sponsors school wide assemblies, dances, monthly spirit days, sports, activities and clubs. We take care of community service projects that are both local and global. We do the morning announcements, fundraisers and, later in the year, we present to the school board. We have monthly meetings with homeroom representatives to discuss and act upon school-related issues.

President, Aubrey Klumker, presides over all meetings. She/he is the official representative of the student body.

Vice President, Nolan Winter, assumes duties of any council member in his/her absence. The Vice President keeps a scrapbook of school events.

Secretary, Hunter McKenzie, records and keeps track of all meetings.

Treasurer, Halley Davis, assists in the preparation of the student body budget; reports expenditures and income to the executive council; approves purchase orders.

Grade Representatives are the voices of their respective grade levels. They are:

  • 8th grade:  Madeleine Misterek, Kyleigh Neighbors, and Michael Letts
  • 7th grade:  Chance Blalock, Osten Vogel, and Gretchen Golden

We all work together to get the job done whether it is before school, after school or during lunch. ASB is a huge commitment and it is extremely important to our school.

ASB cards are sold to support ASB sponsored activities. Cards may be purchased at the HRMS bookkeeper window for $12.00. Replacement cards are $2.00.

2010 - 2011 ASB Officer and Senator elections

A big congratulations to all the students who invested their time, hard work, and hearts into running for an ASB office the last week of February. Each and every candidate deserved to be elected to office. If only there were 25 seats on the ASB executive council!
